LAST MINUTE CHECK-UP BEFORE YOUR WEDDING

LAST MINUTE CHECK-UP BEFORE YOUR WEDDING

LAST MINUTE CHECK UP BEFORE YOUR WEDDING

Time flies, but just before your wedding it seems like be running even two or three times faster. You need to stay focused and remember about everything. Sometimes it gets hard to find yourself in the middle of this “hurricane” but we won’t leave you scared and alone. With our expertise in wedding industry we prepared for you a special kit of the important issues you need to check-up before your Big Day.

1. VENDORS CHECK

Provide all your vendors with the exact directions and contacts. If possible do it on writing, you’ll be sure they won’t miss a thing. If you’ve already done it, it doesn’t hurt do double check. Always better safe than sorry.

2. FINAL PAYMENTS AND TIPS

Make sure that all your vendors are payed ahead so you don’t need to think about it during the ceremony or receptions while running and getting things done. If you are planning to tip anyone, prepare in advance the envelopes with their names. It will make the things a lot easier without having to count any money out

3. HAVE EXTRA MONEY

Just in case you need it. You can’t prevent everything but you can be prepared and then anything will surprise you.

4. BREAK IN YOUR WEDDING SHOES

It doesn’t matter if your shoes cost a fortune and are from the best designer. Make sure that they get perfectly with your feet. Especially leather needs some time to adjust to you. If you normally don’t wear high-heels but you decided but you decided on, better practice walking and dancing in them so on your Big Day you’ll be just flawless.

5. PHOTOGRAPHY SCHEDULE

Every couple (especially brides-to-be) have their dreamed photos shoots that must be made during their wedding day. To avoid explaining and talking with the photographer during the ceremony and reception, provide him with a list of shoots you want to have in your album. Have everything agreed earlier in case you need some accessories.

WHY AN INTIMATE WEDDING IS A GOOD IDEA

WHY AN INTIMATE WEDDING IS A GOOD IDEA

WHY AN INTIMATE WEDDING IS A GOOD IDEA

While planning a wedding lots of future brides dream about a huge celebration, hundreds of guests, spacious ballroom, generally the bigger the better. But it’s no longer a rule. The more and more couples decide to abandon this trend and go for romantic, intimate weddings inviting only their closest friends and family. Why this type of weddings become more and more popular? Well, there is several reasons:

1. More intimate atmosphere.

Cutting the guest list will assure that the people you are going to see during your Big Day are really your loving ones. Why dealing with someone you’ve never seen or didn’t stay in contact with? Smaller celebration means more intimate atmosphere. Maybe you don’t see it yet but it will help a lot when it comes to your stress level. A lot of future married worry a lot about the confrontation with the people they particularly don’t know. Push the pressure away and focus on you and your feeling.
Our advice: Be prepared that you might hurt someone’s feelings. Instead of neglecting this fact, have an honest conversation with the people who were likely to feel invited. Tell them the truth about your small and intimate wedding, surely they will understand and support you.

2. Your dream location.

Smaller guest number goes with the wider choice when it comes to wedding venues. You don’t have to worry that the large number of guest will not fit to your dreamed location. You will have endless opportunities not only regarding ceremony and reception but also arrangement of the tables, dance floor area and many more. It’s very common that lovely private villas or elegant castles have limited number of guests. If you are not limited by this restriction you can start searching for something that will really get your heart.
Our advice: Choose something cozy and intimate what will emphasize the close relation with your guests. With too spacious venues your guest might feel lost and not comfortable.

3. Greatest attention to details.

We are all a little bit perfectionists and like to control everything. While planning a smaller wedding you can make sure everything is perfect and buttoned up. Everything can be more elaborate.
Our advice: Small weddings are more transparent so everything must run like a clockwork. “Smaller” doesn’t mean that they are evidently simpler to organize. You have more control over every detail but you must remember that the with the smaller amount of guest every failing is more visible and harder to turn a blinder eye to.
let your imagination run free.

4. Smaller wedding = smaller budget.

Yes, it all depends on what you are looking for but usually smaller weddings are chipper that the big ones. The smaller venue, the smaller amount of personalized details and especially the prices for catering. With the number of guests, the costs usually get higher. When you on a tight budget, an intimate wedding might be something for you.
Our advice: Sometimes cutting the guest list is the only way to have everything you envisioned for your wedding day. Envision what is more important to you. And remember that no one has the right to call you selfish. We all deserve to have a perfect wedding, the way we want it to be.

Each of these places is exceptional and has its particular charm. Whichever you chose you can be sure that this journey will be unforgettable.

5. Perfect for destination wedding.

When you dream about a special destination wedding, organizing an intimate celebration gives you this opportunity. It opens you the doors to the brand-new dimension of wedding reception. Regarding transportation and accommodation, it’s way simpler to organize a small, intimate destination wedding than a big one. It will really get you closer to your guests and guarantee you more time spent together.
Our advice: Planning a destination wedding even for the small group of people can be very complicated. Knowledge and expertise of the chose location are indispensable. Don’t take your skills for granted. Professional consultations when planning a destination wedding are a must!
As a luxurious wedding planner, we love intimate weddings. They give us a lot of strong feelings and heartfelt emotions. Planning something so precious is a gift itself.

Each of these places is exceptional and has its particular charm. Whichever you chose you can be sure that this journey will be unforgettable.

DESTINATION MARRIAGE PROPOSAL: RULES AND IDEAS

DESTINATION MARRIAGE PROPOSAL: RULES AND IDEAS

DESTINATION MARRIAGE PROPOSAL: RULES AND IDEAS

More and more people decide to propose while being far from home. For most of us a perfect proposal setting is somewhere exotic, far from reality, friends and family, somewhere romantic and never to forget.

Proposing while being away has something from the fairytale. It creates a place in space that seems to exist only for us, a place where we can come back to feel these emotions again, a perfect getaway. This unknown area adds the allure to the moment of proposal. Being far away from our everyday worries make everything looks so possible and perfect.

Even if a destination proposal became something that we almost expect, a bit cliché, more and more people decide to do it that way.

To make it perfect and unique you must follow some simple rules and have a lot of creativity. We will help you with both issues.

First rule: Do not exaggerate

If the setting is actually perfect, not much stuff is needed. The proposal doesn’t have to be overly complicate.

Second rule: Knowing your partner and her/his expectations

If you don’t want to spoil this romantic trip by proposing to your soulmate to fast, think about your relationship. Is it ready? Is she/he ready? If you are sure that it is the right time, think about your partner expectations. Most of us have their dreamed proposal scenario prepared in our heads. Simply listen to your partner, be sensitive when she/he told you about her/his dreams. Maybe the answer to perfect proposal is right before your eyes. Things like public proposal can be a fulfill of one’s dreams and the worst nightmare for the others.

Third rule: No pressure

Planning a romantic trip and suddenly you feel almost obligated to propose, you know that your partner will be expecting it and you don’t want to let her/him down? Nothing worse than this. Don’t take a romantic trip as an obligation to propose.  Do it when you ready, otherwise you’ll do harm to both you and your partner.

Fourth rule: Commercial alarm

Destination proposals become a real industry and it can spoil the romantic setting of this occurrence. Make sure that the atmosphere won’t be spoiled by other impatient tourists or street vendors.

Creative examples:

1. Snow proposal

You and your partner are ski enthusiast? Use this magnificent, pure white settings to surprise and harm your beloved. Write proposal phrases in the snow which will be visible for you and your partner while you’re be lifted (you can use food coloring to dye them). Write different quotes so that they all lead to the final question “Will you marry me?”. White madness guaranteed.

2. Top proposal

Something more meaningful than proposing on the top of the mountain? With the breathtaking views and all the journey, you’ve made to be there behind you, all the adrenaline rush, this proposal will be unforgettable.

3. Beach proposal

The sound of the waves in the background, the sun on your back and the warm sand under your feet. Could we ask for something more? Draw on sand your big question and your partner will surely love it. You can also tell her/him about drawing on sand competition so that you’ll have time to do your masterpiece and your partner will not suspect anything. You can also build a sandcastle together and put the ring on the highest tower. If you don’t like playing in the sand, what about a message in in a bottle? Beautiful photos are one of the advantage of this type of proposal.

Whatever you plan to do, if you dream of something special, hire a Team of Professionals.

Many Wedding Planners also help with marriage proposals so do Avalon Events Organisation.

WHAT YOU SHOULDN’T DIY ON YOUR WEDDING

WHAT YOU SHOULDN’T DIY ON YOUR WEDDING

WHAT YOU SHOULDN'T DIY ON YOUR WEDDING

DIY project can be very original and one of a kind. Handling some wedding tasks yourself can be a great way to personalize your event. It can also help you to save a lot of money.
For a lot of brides-to-be this idea of home crafted decorations and attractions seems like perfect solution to combine tight budget and the wedding of their dreams.

But is in fact DIY always a good idea? When time gests shorter and stress gets higher, DIY concept can do more harm than good. Wedding experts says “Don’t go too far”. Something that you can do months in advance while watching TV, can be worth doing, but time consuming activities which should be done the final days before your wedding are more delicate. What you should better leave to the professionals? Let’s take a closer look at it.

FLOWERS

Flowers are one of the biggest expenses for weddings. It seems perfect to think that you can simply collect some stems together and call it a bouquet. But you should be extremely realistic in what you can and will want to do just before your Big Day. Florist are experts when it comes to flowers, they know how to deal with them, how to make them looks perfect together and they train for years. Flowers are the soul of the decorations for your wedding reception. They arrive shortly before the wedding, leaving you only a day — sometimes even hours — to arrange everything. You’ll see that this time is precious and you’ll prefer to spend it on other important things rather than working in sweat.

YOUR HAIR AND MAKEUP

Not only all eyes will be on you this day but also it will be the longest day of your life. Starting early, full of amazing but stressful events, a lot of hugs, even more kisses, dozens of dances, maybe some happy tears and all the photos. Your hair and make-up must remain perfect from the beginning till the very end. Even if you don’t have problems to do your hair and make-up every day, for this unique occasion better leave it to the specialist. A professional can do your hair and make-up twice as well as you and in half the time. They have professional product and know how to create a flawless look that don’t spoil with time.

PHOTOS

Wedding last only several hours but the photographs live forever. Every time you want you could come back to those memories to see how happy and beautiful you were on this day. Do not save your money on photographer. If you decide to let your friend do them instead of professional you’ll regret this forever. A picture-perfect album is the best thing to keep everybody remembering your wedding day.

WEDDING CAKE AND FOOD

Even if it seems like saving a lot of money, before deciding to prepare several-dishes menu for all your guests better think twice. A professional knows a lot of better than you how to estimate the amount of food needed to be prepared on a large scale, when and how to serve them and how to combine your and your groom’s taste into a cohesive menu. Also your guests dietary needs or restrictions aren’t a problem for him. If you really want a personalized menu discuss it with your caterer. Surely, you’ll find a way to combine your vision with his experience.

PLANNING AND COORDINATION

Even if you the most organized person in the whole world, you like being in charge and all your friends are so willing to help, you will see that having a professional on your side will completely change all you know about perfect planning. Why is it so important? Because you could relax. Even if planning is your thing, acting in stress can ruin everything. Hiring a coordinator for the day can be a lifesaver. You’ll see that your wedding will look as good in real life as it did in your head.

Before deciding to DIY on your wedding simply try if you can do it. O n the website we can find thousands of DIY inspiration. They seems easy to do, but be careful. Most fo them is prepared by the specialists. They are photographed to look easy but reality can be different.
